It highlights many of the major themes and issues in the field debated over the past twenty five years, particularly those central to addressing the needs of gifted and talented Mâori students in the present. In summary, the paper considers some of the ongoing problems and gaps in the literature, with a view to providing further avenues to productive scholarship in the future of Mâori gifted and talented education.
